• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

    Cereal shovel...

Well two weeks in and I'm awake at 3am most mornings I thought it was just the stress What a coincidence...... And with the Alzheimer's, there was an incidence in the shed the other day when I struggled to nail two bits of wood together - just couldn't measure or perform a simple calculation...

Not trying to lose focus ,as those shovels 're a work of art,but what's the issue with statins? They've just told me I'm type two with stratospheric cholesterol and put me on something for the sugar and statins for tother. What did these pills do to you?😕

    New toy

No Frank It has little "wheels" at each end that engage with the wider part of the taller Can't see how I could perform that trick It's no big deal anyway as it's extra travel when the sled has reached the end of its track.

    What have you "lost" today...?

Another diamond pozi bit because the holder has demagnetized Google ai and half a dozen YouTube gimps insist that stroking it with a magnet will restore it but they are liars because it doesn't I hammered the new one in alongside a filament of stainless wire but that eventually worked loose so...

    New toy

New one Vs original Well impressed The only downside is that unlike the original it can't be locked in the tslot for sled-only movement but I think this could be remeded with a tapped hole and thumb wheel somehow

Never Have Work Done when you are Not Home

Takes its toll. One instance I watched a tiny WPC being threatened with a needled syringe. There was a blur and the next thing I saw was the male lowlife ,nearly twice her size, face down in handcuffs.

    Newbie here!

Screwfix was a revelation because it gave you a paper catalogue with a picture and a price for every single one of the thousand items. We all take that for granted now and it's expected of a business. I suppose your problem is then with the general public is that they can go to Poundland and...

Never Have Work Done when you are Not Home

Id be less worried about a lady " workman" In male dominated workspaces they are usually far more diligent I've had to liaise with police in a previous occupation when dealing with scumbags and it was always the female officers that waded in first not taking sh*t from anyone.
