• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

    Radiator water flow

    Installation on flow is best as if on the return they can hammer off the valve seat when nearly closed. Always best to have water flow opposing actuation force. Some of the bidirectional ones will hammer if the differential pressure is too high across them.

    If there's no light Id check the cable hasn't been pulled during the move and one of the connections hasn't come dislodged or wire damaged. The light would be on a permanent feed from the plug via the door switch.

    We have starlink here and as far as I am aware it does wifi calling. Our mobile signal is not great indoors and im pretty sure my mobile jumps onto WiFi at times when on a call but not sure how I could physically verify this.

    Another drainage query - sink "blocking" - now fixed

    I'd think you've got kitchen muck stuck in the bowl of the bottle trap/ traps thats shifting when you put the plunger on. Bottle traps are generally not as good.as a p trap or s trap for allowing gunk to pass as far as I know. I'd take the trap bowls off and see if they are full of muck next...

    40mm pipe ‘odour’ trap

    HepV0 Trap roger. Useful on things that may dry up such as condensate pipes and safety valve blow offs if having to go into a drain. They also work to admit air like a mini durgo valve.

    Problem with ring ccts is that cct can have a broken conductor behind a socket etc which results in 2 radial ccts which the homeowner is generally oblivious to - as everything is still working.     Hi Roger if you are getting 6 bar sometimes and its not an expansion vessel problem then you might be getting a back feed through a tap fitted before the system pressure reducing valve sometimes kitchen sink tap is piped before the prv.

    Ideally I think you would have an underlay membrane between the lead and the ply which assist with reducing condensation and will help prevent galvanic corrosion between lead and screws.
