Strictly this isn't woodworking but is preparation for fitting a door so I hope it counts!
I am in the process of dividing a room and opened up an old doorway that had been boarded up. Removal of the studwork shows that the brickwork around the doorway is less than perfect and so I would like to make it good before I start putting the door surround back in. I have never done a job like this before and am not sure if I should just mix up some cement or use bonding plaster to make it good. Any ideas?
